They smell bad...but they're still cool.

Today I went and did two things traditionally fall, we went to the apple orchard for cider and donuts and then we went for a hike at my favorite day use state park in Michigan, Mayberry. It was a crisp cool day....perfection.

I'm sad that I was unable to document the event with my camera. My batteries died just as I wanted to take a photo of me sticking my head through the large plywood apple with a hole for your head. You all are understandably disappointed I'm sure.

The best part of the day was hearing a young lad, about age 13, say as he peered into the pig pen at the petting farm "They smell bad...but they're still cool." Classic.

I'm still giggling over that one.
