Christmas in October??? I'm Wearing Flip Flops

So I don't know about anyone else, but I am so not ready for it to be holiday season. I still feel like it should be the beginning of September. There are many reasons for this: (1) I could recelebrate my birthday giving everyone another opportunity to buy me a pony and (2) I really just don't know where the time went. One of the big things that drives me even more crazy is the fact that everywhere you go they are already selling large inflatable Santa's for the yard (holiday inflatables are one of my biggest pet peeves. The worst is the house on Burton in G-Raps with a full Winnie the Pooh gang out front dressed fully for a Christmas Winter Wonderland.), motorized Christmas light reindeer, and wrapping paper. OH MY SHAKA! It's October people. After going shopping with my sister on Saturday, I realized that people are already Christmas shopping. I am so not ready for this. I'm going to wear flip flops tomorrow in protest.
