Try Bowling a Seven Sometime
I meant to post this earlier this week, however, it's been one of those weeks where it's already Friday and you feel like you just went to church yesterday.
I am in a bowling league.
Let me repeat that again for you, I am in a bowling league. Jealous aren't you? I'm sure you are. I'd be jealous of me, too, especially since the name of the league is "El Cheapo." Aw yea kids, and you thought being unemployed was boring. For the next 11 Mondays I will be bowling three games with my sis, bro-in-law, and his good friend. We've named our team "Spare Change." This week my sis (who coined the title of this post after she in fact did bowl a seven in college...classic) and I did pretty well for ourselves. I bowled a 134, 134, and a 150. This is pretty good for me considering that I usually am happy to break 100. I should also mention that the games are played with this special kind of scoring called 9-pin no tap, which means if you hit 9 pins down on your first ball, then you get a strike. It's a beautiful rule.
So call me a Kegler kids...I'm hitting the lanes.
